Common Questions About Boiler Installation
How much does a new boiler cost in 2026?
It depends on the brand, your property, and the complexity of the job. Most homeowners pay £1,800–£3,500 installed; oil boilers run £2,500–£5,000+. Get an exact fixed price with our quote tool, or call us on 01748 883055 for a chat.
Combi, system, or regular – which do I need?
Combi boilers suit most homes with one or two bathrooms and no need for a hot water cylinder. System boilers work well for homes with higher hot water demand. Regular boilers are usually the right fit for older homes with an existing cylinder and tanks. If you’re not sure, we’ll advise during your survey.
Can I extend my warranty beyond the standard term?
Yes. The major brands offer extended warranties when a boiler is installed by an accredited engineer. As accredited installers for Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi and Grant, we can often extend cover to 10–12 years.
Is finance available for boiler installation?
Yes. Split the cost of your new boiler with our finance partner, Phoenix Finance. We’ll talk you through the options when you get your quote. All finance is subject to status and credit checks.
What could change the price on the day?
Things like unexpected pipework, a longer flue, or extra system cleaning. Our written quote sets out the scope clearly so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Are you Gas Safe and OFTEC OIL registered?
Yes. We’re Gas Safe registered for gas work and OFTEC OIL registered for oil heating, with public liability insurance and full certification on completion.
Do you offer emergency call-outs?
Yes. For boiler breakdowns, no heating or hot water, or leaks that can’t wait, call us on 01748 883055 and we’ll get to you as quickly as we can.
